When it comes to our tall, furry friend, truer words were never spoken.
Because of our travel/large family/small people holiday plans, Aladdin spent Thanksgiving with his furry friends at daycare.
I started missing him while I was at work Wednesday, thinking about how our routine post-work walk and training time would be unnecessary. Playing with the kids yesterday, and snuggling with the smallest of the furry friends got me really missing him. When we went to bed late last night with no puppy to ask so sweetly and persistently if maybe tonight would be the night he'd be allowed up on the bed with us to sleep, Nick and I both agreed that in the past year, we really have become a family.
I can't wait to pick him up in just a few short hours, and have some fun playing in the perfect beautiful snow that blessed Buffalo for the Thanksgiving holiday.
In other news, Aladdin is getting pretty good at our new favorite trick - STEADY.
It's SOOO hard! We move the treat all around him and he's not allowed to even look at it. When he's really in the zone, he can do this…
Why yes! That is a treat on his forehead! (...and yes, he is glaring at me. He does NOT love this command yet. It's such a tease.)
Happy Thanksgiving!
