Our little guy had his 1st birthday party on June 17th in Batavia. We are so lucky so many friends and family were able to make the trip out to help us celebrate. It was a beautiful day, even with the 90 degree heat!

Early on, Jamie commandeered my camera and I'm so glad she did! She takes incredible photos, and I was so busy it never would have occurred to me to take pictures at all!
He had learned to walk just the week before. He somehow managed to stay injury free until that morning, when he tripped between the patio and driveway and caught himself with his forehead. Welcome toddlerhood!
